Klementina Österberg elected new chair of SeaTwirl
Wind power company SeaTwirl held an Extraordinary General Meeting in Gothenburg on April 8, 2020, after which the newly elected board has constituted itself. As planned, the board elected Klementina Österberg as new chair. Peter Laurits remains vice chair.
The board of SeaTwirl AB (publ) hereby announces that Klementina Österberg has been elected chair after Jens Tommerup has been engaged operationally in the company and left the board.
“I thank our shareholders and everyone on the board for the trust put in me to be chair of SeaTwirl in this exciting phase and I look forward to keep building on the foundation former chairmen Jens Tommerup and Roger Cederberg has put in place. As GU Ventures was among the first dedicated investors in SeaTwirl in 2012, I have a long past with the company and know it well. We have a lot going on in SeaTwirl, everything from expansive technology development, strengthened communication, growing organization and a capital raise ahead of us. It will be great fun to work even closer with everyone on the board, the team and advisors”, says Klementina Österberg, who is also CEO of GU Ventures and a shareholder in SeaTwirl.
Peter Laurits remains the vice-chair of the board which furthermore consists of members Charlotte Bergqvist, Dan Friberg and Pontus Ryd. An alternate is Knut Claesson, SeaTwirl’s single largest shareholder.

SeaTwirl develops the floating wind turbine of the future in a simple and robust design that reduces costs at every stage, from installation to maintenance. Now, SeaTwirl is expanding, focusing on the world market and on scaling up the wind turbine. SeaTwirl’ board plans to gradually develop the entire organization by including new key people with relevant competencies, which reflect the company’s vision.
