BAPSEA program

This week our Head of Business Development Peter Laurits travelled to Manila, Philippines with the Ocean Energy Delegation.

Earlier this year we were happy to announce that SeaTwirl got accepted to the BAPSEA program by Business Sweden and the Swedish Energy Agency. This week our Head of Business Development Peter Laurits travelled to Manila, Philippines with the Ocean Energy Delegation and had exciting meetings with among others, Department of Energy, National Power Corporation, several private companies, and stakeholders within renewable energy production.

“The Philippines is implementing a large energy transition with focus on replacing fossil fuels into renewable energy production. The locations identified for offshore wind mostly have deep water which is very suitable for floating solutions. With their 7000 islands suffering from unstable energy and high energy costs, this truly is a place where SeaTwirl’s solution and knowledge could be useful.” Peter Laurits
