SeaTwirl’s CEO to take on new challenges
Gabriel has chosen to leave the role of CEO of SeaTwirl. “It has been an incredibly exciting and fun journey to help build such an exciting company as SeaTwirl. Contributing to the development of an innovative product for a better environment has been very interesting. After many years as CEO, it feels natural to hand over to someone else ” Gabriel says.
Since 2013, Gabriel Strängberg has been CEO of SeaTwirl and has successfully run the company together with a competent and growing team. The highlights have been the development and installation of the Lysekil wind turbine as well as the implementation of a successful introduction to the stock exchange. SeaTwirl develops the future floating wind turbines in a simple and robust design that lowers costs. In recent years, the company has gone from prototyping to developing a version of 1MW.
“SeaTwirl has gone through a fantastic and exciting journey from a startup to a listed developing company on Nasdaq First North. Gabriel has been very important throughout this journey and I together with the Board would like to say a big thank you and wish him all the luck in the future ”, says Jens Tommerup, Chairman of SeaTwirl.
The work of finding a replacement starts immediately, and Gabriel will remain in the company for a transitional period to ensure an optimal handover to a successor.
“I am confident that SeaTwirl’s success story will continue and I will follow the company closely from the side. I wish the amazing team all the luck with the development, ”says the leaving CEO, Gabriel Strängberg.
