With another successful year behind us and continued favourable conditions, we at SeaTwirl look towards the future with confidence.

SeaTwirl held an extraordinary general meeting in Gothenburg on October 23, 2019. The following main decision were made.

SeaTwirl at the OEEC event in Amsterdam together with other interesting marine energy solution providers in the Marine Energy Pavilion.

The divestment is in accordance with GU Venture’s exit strategy as a state seed investor to undergo, in an orderly fashion, those of its holdings that have developed well and where a stable and long-term ownership base has been established. After the transaction, GU Ventures owns 4.99%.

With his background as former CEO of MHI Vestas and his global network in the offshore wind power industry, Jens is considered to have an ideal profile to bring Sea Twirl into a new phase of operations.   

After seven years as chairman and member respectively, Roger Cederberg and Daniel Ehrnberg leave the board to focus on new roles within the company as SeaTwirl enters a new phase.

The Board of Directors of SeaTwirl AB (“publ”) hereby proposes the election of Jens Tommerup as new Chairman of the Board of SeaTwirl. As SeaTwirl enters a new phase with increased focus on commercialization, the current Chairman of the Board Roger Cederberg, has decided to withdraw. Also, founder Daniel Ehrnberg withdraws from the Board to focus on the company’s technical development as a technical specialist.
