G-STIC conference

SeaTwirl was invited by De Blauwe Cluster to do a pitch of the G-STIC conference in Brussels 21st November.

G-STIC is a series of conferences that aim to accelerate the development, dissemination and deployment of technological innovations that enable the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). G-STIC is focused on building knowledge bases and global expert networks to support the technological transitions that are needed for the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.

The SeaTwirl pitch was held by Efva Willén, the Business Development Manager of SeaTwirl, during the “Inspiring ocean technologies” session opening up the Industry night, together with a score of researchers and developers from enterprises all over the world and from varying domains such as coastal defence, offshore renewable energy, aquaculture, plastic catchers and sustainable hydrogen. There was a lot of interest from the audience and also interesting discussions with the other presenting companies. G-STIC was an impressive event and looking at its line-up of participants and speakers, it really seemed to live up to its mission: to connect technological innovation to decision making for sustainability.
